Protect your kids!......this is the revelation that keeps surfacing in the past year regarding social media and technology such as FB, Instagram, Snapchat and GOOG.

The negative impact on this technology is now being studied with much more fervor and the results should alarm anyone with kids growing up in the age of the tech revolution with smartphones and social media.

It is not about is something far more sinister though perhaps subtle.....certainly far more dangerous:

For example, did you know that:

1) Kids grades directly correlate with the distance their phone is from them while studying whether or not it is turned on?

2) Repeated us of cellphone correlates with a full lower grade point in school.....B student would have been a A student.

3) The division of attention impedes reason and performance

4) Social skills are markedly diminished

Now what if we knew that this was all orchestrated and that society had created a "monster"??

And so we have....according to the previous FB president:

"And that means that we need to sort of give you a little dopamine hit every once in a while, because someone liked or commented on a photo or a post or whatever," he told Axios. "And that's going to get you to contribute more content, and that's going to get you ... more likes and comments."

Parker added: "It's a social-validation feedback loop ... exactly the kind of thing that a hacker like myself would come up with, because you're exploiting a vulnerability in human psychology."

"The inventors, creators — it's me, it's Mark [Zuckerberg], it's Kevin Systrom on Instagram, it's all of these people — understood this consciously," he said. "And we did it anyway."

Protect your kids my friends.....this is is is a huge negative of our great technology advance of the past 2 decades......machines get smarter and we as a society get dumber.

When you go home with your family, read them these articles, change their life for the better IMO.
