I tilled the (former) herb garden. Removed all the herbs except the rosemary. I like the rosemary, and I can prune it into shapes I like, in this case, a small tree. The Countess objected to this way of pruning. I gave her carte blanche to prune it any way she wants. So far it's still the way I left it.

My plan is to put in a flower garden. She should like that better than an herb garden in any case.

Today has been a nice dry day. The soil in my beds is so full of compost and various amendments that it can be worked even when it's wet. I have another ~2 cu ft of compost to till in now. The bed is maybe 12' X 8'.
