The Global Carbon Project issued its estimates for world and national CO2 emissions from fossil fuels for 2020. World emissions will decline by 7%, due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
Global fossil CO2 emissions are expected to decline approximately 2.4 billion tonnes of CO2 in 2020 (-7%), a record drop.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) just came out with its own estimate for 2020. They say energy related CO2 emissions fell 5.8%, or nearly 2 billion tonnes.

I believe the Global Carbon Project numbers may include cement manufacture and other industrial processes, but the IEA only looks at energy-related fossil emissions, so they aren't going to exactly line up.

The IEA does say China saw a small increase in CO2 emitted, while other major economies saw declines.
