The keypad lock already installed when I bought my house is old. No WiFi, no bluetooth, just a 9 volt battery inside and buttons on the outside. As far as I can tell, if the battery is dead you can't even use the key. And if you would rather use the key, you must do something (I forget what) with the keypad to enable the key to work.

Hopefully you will do a lot better!
