The Lincoln version looks distinctly different from the Ford version, evidence that Ford is finally getting a clue that badge engineering doesn't enhance brand value. Whether people *like* the Lincoln version is another question....it's quite controversial within the company....with a lot of folks hating it. It kind of appeals to me, but I've got radical tastes in vehicle styling. ;)

Detroit could use some more radical vehicle design; it is one area where they could easily set themselves apart from the competition.

Far too many people seem to think, "Toyota is successful, Toyota makes boring-looking cars... People really want boring cars!"

Of course, my wife and I drove a Pontiac Aztek for years, so what do I know about design? :)
