Genuine agreement with the Climate Agenda or necessary virtue signaling? You decide.

Instead of putting its own name on the facility, though, Amazon said it will be called Climate Pledge Arena.

News from last month...

NEW YORK (AP) — Amazon said Tuesday that its carbon footprint rose 15% last year, even as it launched initiatives to reduce its harm on the environment.

The online shopping giant said activities tied to its businesses emitted 51.17 million metric tons of carbon dioxide last year, the equivalent of 13 coal burning power plants running for a year. That’s up from 2018, when it reported a carbon footprint of 44.4 million metric tons.

Turning the Keeling curve is going to require much more than putting a new name on a basketball arena.

But 154 big companies have made the Climate Pledge and the smaller companies are following the lead of the two biggest employers (Wal-Mart and Amazon) in the US. 🤣
