The purpose of this spreadsheet it to run through 700 stock screens to
find the ones worthy of further consideration. A few performance
numbers do not tell you about the longer term flavor of the
screen and you can often tell enough about a screen from its chart to
reject it. If its slope is not steeper than SPY then why go further
with it. How did it react in 2008? How fast did it recover? Is it too
wild of a ride for me? What has it done lately? Once I whittle
the 700 down to a reasonable size it then time to use other means
to evaluate the performance.

The long term nature of these compares means I can do this once a year or so and do not need update this spreadsheet every week. The Weekly Trade
Ledger helps get some performance numbers once you have selected your
screens and maybe find some new ones to re-evaluate.
