The "G7 Climate and Environment Ministers’ Communiqué" is several pages in length but it only contains the following 2 sentences about nuclear power:

"Those countries that opt to use it reaffirmed the role of nuclear energy in their energy mix. Those countries recognise its potential to provide affordable low carbon energy and contribute to the security of energy supply as a baseload energy source."

Sure looks like 2 sentences on nuclear power is just tossed into the G7 report because some countries still want nuclear because of local economics. However, for most countries in the world nuclear power is not affordable.
