The randomness of paths taken is the beauty in the end. The backfilling with blue epoxy was an excellent addition on a later video... It does open us up to unique works...

I recall seeing a Ponderosa Pine in the Sierras that had been hit by lightning. It blew off the bark in a 3-4" stripe from top to bottom, going carefully around all the branches. I suggested to a wandering Ranger Rick that it was the work of carpenter ants, as they had taken over, going after the sap left behind... He gave me a real funny look...
