The web-site:

http://www.ala.org/yalsa/sites/ala.org.yalsa/files/content/S...

but I would suggest books about the Wright Brothers, Henry Ford, Edison, Einstein, the Curie's,
duPont ----- and then go the opposite path - The 100 Greatest Disasters, Learning from Failure -
and I would suggest a history of the steam engine - with the emphasis on explosions in England.

The series discussing how inventions were related is also a lot of fun - but that may be a DVD
series now.

The next web-site looks to be for younger kiddoes - but the ideas might trigger something.
