Then, someone told me that if I had flooded it, I now have to change the fuel filter........................................................



Not that I have ever heard of.


Flooding occurs further down stream from the filter, so I can't imagine how the filter could even tell that it happened.


What are you driving that you "flooded" it? Age, mileage, etc?


With modern cars,what looks like flooding is probably a symptom of something else, a bit more serious.
