There are very few companies that will see immediate benefits with the opening of trade to China. In fact, almost all companies will tell you that they don't make money in China, won't in the near future, and don't know when they will.

Plus, China has a government entity that deals in insurance. I don't know a lot of specifics but you can bet that they will want to play in that field. May not be very pleasant for AIG in the short to medium term there.

Finally, the trade deal with China will have very little bearing on overall company performance. But good companies. Reading too much into today's news is a very WISE thing to do.
