There is no provision to reclaim the lost benefits. Since the penalty is triggered by earned income, your future benefits might be increased by the added payments to social security but I would not count on it.

The other problem is that the additional income will also probably also cause the social security benefits to be taxable. Overall drawing social security before your social security retirement age and still working is a losing proposition.
