There seems to be a gross misunderstanding of what goes on at the seller's kitchen table when offers (yes, plural in this market) come in and the seller is turning to his agent for guidance.


I just shake my head in wonder at you guys in the California market.

That's not how it goes in most markets.

I have participated in real estate in PA, VA, WV, NC, GA. It has been exactly as Cath described, at least for the past 15+ years.

No pre-qual, no attention paid to offer.
