These are great numbers and they're getting better and better.

They're very good numbers. They just haven't been able to match their burst production levels (5K weekly on the 3) at a sustained rate, despite the passage of several months. That's why I think U.S. sales are close to maxing out, because from here forward you would expect (and Tesla has announcing) that they're going to start serving European markets fairly soon. Since they're far from the 10K that Musk projected at the start of the "S-curve," that product's going to have to come out of what is presently going to the U.S. market. Sure, there will be some increase - but it's unlikely that Tesla can pull an extra 15-20K monthly of the S out of Fremont in the next few quarters.
