They are anti-bad_science, and anti-witchhunter academics who would try to silence them or keep them out of the academy. You know that to anyone who isn't religious, Uncommon Descent is all about promoting bad science, don't you? So the claim that they're "anti bad science" rather than "anti science" rings very hollow. It's not that you question question ANY scientists motives, or ANY scientific theory. It's which ones you question, and why. You're choosing one for which there's a mountain of evidence, something that's an active tool in modern medicine, and you're questioning it without reasonable evidence for doing so, out of what appear to be purely emotional motivations. That is what gives you the appearance of being anti-science.Creationism is so rife with bad eggs, you actually have to work hard to find a good one, someone who genuinely thinks about alternatives to their religious beliefs. Most of them very clearly have no understanding at all of the ideas they're rejecting. - Gus
