A few weeks back, I started to consider the impact of the upcoming election and markets. While that may not feel like a Foolish view on the surface, I would challenge others to keep it longer term picture.

For instance, if tax changes are rolled back by a Democratic president, how would it affect S&P forward earnings? How does this make me evaluate investments differently?

In the same vein of taxes, are certain municipal bond funds undervalued.

If the Dems took the White House this year, how would it affect banks and the financial sector, longer term?

With rates so low for mortgages, would I trade security or securities? Rather, would I rather follow a plan to pay off early or continue to put the funds into investments.
