This is *not* a "liberal logic" problem, but a problem of the corrupt so-called "progressive movement." It has zilch to do with either liberalism (which is empowering the individual versus the machine) nor logic.'

Sorry but liberal has not meant what you ascribe to it for over a generation.

Unfortunately words do evolve.

Liberal was at one time about personal freedom. Once it became a fight against the machine it was already to late. The machine was never a problem, a machine is a tool, it is what people wanted from the machine.

Unfortunately, the first ones making demands of the machine were liberals, who were co-opted by progressive, convinced that the machine, not the man behind the curtain was the problem.

A better analogy would be protection for the 'Man'

Liberalism ran off the tracks when it got caught up in the perception that all that goes wrong has a motive that is not pure.

I usually do not do semantics, but I think it is important to see where we went off track
