This is some of best advice to give to a young person. Start early, even if you can only put a small amount in each payday and continue to do so. If you start in your 20's or even 30's, you can have 30-40 years of compounding the interest on your initial investments. TIME is so very important and start as early as you can. Clufool's example clearly spells this out.
