This seems to be an irrational response. I do not understand why it makes you mad. If a church considers it an evil for people to be able to murder unborn children on demand, then it only makes sense that people who support being able to murder unborn children on demand would not be part of that church.

First: VIOLENT EYEROLL at your rhetoric.

Second:

1) They cannot possibly presume to know why someone voted for Obama (hell, maybe they liked his haircut).

2) McCain is far more center on the abortion issue than the church would like anyway (hence the Palin pick), so a vote for him is the same as a vote for Obama, in that regard.

3) It's none of their damn business, as a religious organization, WHO someone votes for. In fact, as part of their tax-exempt status, they are to stay far, far away from political issues entirely.

4) For a church that harbors men who rape little boys, they certainly seem to have a lot of opinions about what everyone else is doing wrong, don't they?

5) It's not an irrational response to get angry about something so tool-ish.

6) Seriously, see #4.

7) I find it remarkable that a church that won't allow women into it's clergy when they'll pray to a mother figure icon thinks it knows what's best for women (the half of humanity they don't think are good enough to be interpreters of the Bible).

8) The reason the church is against abortion is because they decided over a century and a half ago that there are fully-formed human beings in each sperm cell. With that kind of "reasoning" going into this, they can kiss our collective azz.
