"When you are in a message, look on the upper left, right under the folder name. There is a link for either threaded or unthreaded. Click on "threaded" and you can change the format."

This was an answer I found when looking for a clear explaination of thread/unthread. If I sew something together, I put it together. What does changing the format have to do with continuity of a thread?

I'd like to see a glossary of terms for getting around on the site. HELP does not include help on this. Thanks
