to do:

1) Clean the toilets.

2) Vaccum the stairs.

When I was stationed in Germany, several people I knew had a cleaning service that came through twice a week and did just floors and bathrooms.

All floors in the house were swept/vacuumed/mopped and all toilets, showers, tubs, bathroom sinks, mirrors, etc were cleaned.

It wasn't a full house cleaning, but it only cost about 1/4 of a housekeeper and with those two big chores out of the way, keeping the rest of the house clean wasn't that hard.
