To those who think I'm an American Wi-Lan Hypster --
Please skip this post.

For those who have a genuine interest --

I purchased Wi-Lan shares through my Fidelity
International Trader at 1-800-544-2976

I have to inform my broker how to get quotes,
and tell him or her that Wi-Lans's "tracking
symbol" is WILIF

During the day, my "WILIF" and other Canadian Stocks
are not updated properly (by the FOX software),
and they are identified as "Unknown Securities".

However, during the routine nightly system shutdown and update of the Fidelity Site, these stocks are
properly updated in my account.

Other Info:
I get realtime quotes via my Fidelity OnLine Xpress
software, using the symbol WIN.AL

Delayed Quotes are available on Yahoo with the
same symbol WIN.AL
Quotes on Stockhouse.Com and Silicon Investor
are obtained by using the symbol C.WIN

I have posted a list of Canadian prefixes on
the SI Wi-Lan thread.

There is a very informative Wi-Lan conference call
recorded on HTTP://WWW.Q1234.COM
It's a bit dated now, so you would have to use
the Search function (search for WI_LAN) in order
to get it.
I have thoroughly reviewed the PDF format of this
conference call and base my personal opinions
on my findings.

Finally, as an American who has enjoyed some very
fine scenery and genuine friendship and warmth,
in the provinces North and East of my state of New
Hampshire ---
I am genuinely disappointed at the way that "we Americans" presented ourselves to the "New Canadians"
on this thread.

I hope that this unseemly display is now coming to an end.

Marden Marshall
