Despite increased horsepower and an edgier design, the average buyer of a Toyota Camry is in their mid-50's and the demographic is increasing one year in age each model year. If this trend doesn't change, as I've noted for years now, Toyota risks running into the same issue that Lincoln and Buick wrestle with, and Cadillac corrected - their loyal buyers dying off before getting their next model. Not noted in the story but worth greater concern, the average Lexus buyer is even older.http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16774146/
