So this year I'm on a diet (weight loss competition at work) so I've already given up pop* and candy.

I'm low(er) carbing to lose weight, so I can't give up bread or pasta either - I'm already not eating it either.

Hmmm....what to do, what to do...

Flailing about for something else I can give up, I hit upon a "40 items for 40 days" challenge**

I think that's what I'll be doing this year - find one item each day of Lent in my house to throw away or donate.

The usual - *
Dairy, wheat, meat, sugar .... also have changed my eating habits so some of that is *much less* of a thing than it may have been in past years.
Including alcohol, because these are MY arbitrary rules and I have a fun weekend coming up with Sedated, ishtar, & scary.

ThyPeace, has already given up essentially all the standard vices. Even did a 24 hour fast yesterday. Didn't enjoy it and will not be incorporating it into regular practices. 16 hours once or twice a week is enough for me.
