tranny shops and see if I can get it towed elsewhere for a second opinion.................................................................



At worst, you have to pay for the tow to the dealer and for the work/diagnosis they have already done and the tow to the next shop BUT you will almost certainly save enough even if you do need a rebuild, to cover the cost of going to another shop.

And that is if the next shop doesn't find out that it a sticking valve or a band that needs to be adjusted or computer reset or some other way less costly repair.

Take a couple of days to find another shop as I don't think the dealer will be charging for storage. I hope not anyways :)
