Am I allowed to have both an IRA and a 401K? If yes, can I transfer out of my 401K into an IRA as soon as my employer has matched a percentage? The point is I would like to benefit from teh matching my employer makes and then manage the money myself to get higher returns.
Does anyone know if this is possible and under which circumstances or restrictions.
