I am curious if anyone has looked at TRND

I tend to be anti-timing, but I was referred to this by a friend who was pretty unhappy with 2008 ... hardly a unique experience, but he happened to be holding BAC in some quantity, which hurt a lot. While TRND is too new to see what it would have done in 2008, if one looks back at the 200dma on the S&P 500, it looks to me like TRND would have gotten one out at 1500 and back in at 900, which is not perfect timing, but not bad all things considered. Subsequently, it looks like it would have gone to cash and come back to the S&P at about the same price, so no harm, no gain.
