for daily intelligence briefings.

After his election in 2008, President Obama took part not only in regular intelligence briefings but also scheduled “deep dives” on key subjects including Iran’s nuclear program and covert CIA operations, including the accelerating campaign of drone strikes in Pakistan.

“During the transition, President Obama was an avid consumer of intelligence,” said retired Lt. Gen. Michael V. Hayden, who was CIA director when Obama was elected.

Choosing his cabinet is certainly an important job. But Donald Trump has absolutely no relevant experience regarding national security.

It would seem to me that Trump needs to learn a great deal before he assumes the responsibility of being Commander in Chief. But then again, he's told us that he knows more than the Generals.

Ignorance is bad enough. Arrogance makes it a lot worse.

But looking back, Obama read things in his office on the iPad, feet up on the desk, alone.

Maybe his decisions, mostly bad ones on intelligence, were attributable to his refusal to listen to anyone.

It's all about prioritization. So which do you think Trump should put first, ignorance or arrogance?

Neither did prez0. None. As Commander-in Chief for the past eight years he learned diddly. He lost the the Iraq war already won by President Bush. prez0 Rules of Engagement has caused 75% of the casualities in Afghanstan. I won't even mention the rise of Isis and all his failures as CIC nor the terror attacks on the Homeland.

prez0 refused to listen or take advice from his Generals. He was made fun of by them. A number of Generals were fired, demoted or took a early retirement because of him.

prez0 will go down as the worst CIC in America's history.

Trump has no idea how much he is stressing out our allies. They are reconfiguring their approach and they are very wise to do so. Some are encouraged by a message the US will go to 350 ships, others simply don't want to have to deal economically with China too much. Many don't mind the US cozying up to Putin, but question the benefits. They fear a t!t for tat trade war, etc., etc., etc. Nobody really knows what Trump will walk back or modify, and he has said a string of outrageous things to get elected.

And....They have grown complacent over the years of leaning on the US to be their Daddy. With Hilary they knew that the gravy train would continue to run as they were used to. Too bad for them.
