Try calling your bank to see if they can increase your daily limit on your ATM card. Credit cards and debit cards likely have higher cash advance limits and you can get cash advances from an ATM with a credit card if you have the PIN for it.

Remember that the daily limit is for a BUSINESS day. One time when I was traveling I realized that I would be arriving overseas on a three day weekend in the US. With the time zone differences I would likely have been there for almost four days before the next US business day started. That might have left me tight on cash with the daily limits on the two my ATM cards I had from different banks. The first one I called readily bumped the limit up to $500 which was enough to make me feel comfortable.

I have not done it but you can also get larger credit or debit card cash advances using a teller inside a bank but I don't know if I would want to depend on that in Mexico without researching it first.

I like Mexico and the areas I go to are a lot safer than many parts of the US but even still it might not be a good idea to be carrying around thousands in cash over the better part of a week if you have to do the withdrawals over several days. It might make sense to pay some reasonable fees if that would allow you to not carry the cash for very long.
