Intuit is pushing their "Deduction Maximizer", as well as their Deluxe and Premium versions of Turbotax.

A (what I hope is a) simple question:
Do I really need anything more than the Basic version if all we're dealing with is regular W2's, a kid in college living at home, a regular mortgage w/regular interest, and no non-retirement investments? No medical deductions, etc.

TIA!
