Two other institutions have cleared checks without the required signatures. I understand not checking endorsements on the $0.04 check but one of the checks was a significant distribution from a trust.

I wonder how this works with all the places that say that any check is converted to an electronic payment ? I pay absolutely as little as possible with checks as well as trying to receive as few as possible. I feel like my check would allow identity theft much more than an other type of transaction and no way will I put an SSN on a check, no matter what the IRS would like.
