Got on here to give an update on my situation and discovered I hadn't read all the replies back in fall of 2011. So that explains some of the very late replies ya'll are getting.

Walking away from the credit cards turned out to be a good decision for me. I've just gotten my home refinanced and with the $300 I'm saving every month on my mortgage I'm making double car payments. The car note is until November 2016, but with these payments it'll be paid off by spring of next year. Hopefully, I'll be able to make some larger payments and get it paid off by this November. That's the goal anyway.

Once that's done, I'll be contacting the CC companies and paying those off.

So that's my update, sweeties! Bring on the flames! lol
