Using the most recent numbers available, I last calculated Yahoo's Flowie using the following financials:

($ millions)
Cash & Equivs 433
Total Current Assets 467
Short-term Debt 0
Total Current Liabilities 80

Our formula for the new Flowie is:

(Current Assets - Cash & Equivs)
--------------------------------
(Current Liabs - Short-term Debt)

So, the calculation is:

(467 - 433)
------------ = 0.43
(80 - 0)

Perhaps in your calculation, you forgot some of the "equivalents" portion of cash which includes items such as Marketable Securities and Short-term Investments.

When it comes to efficient working capital management as evidenced by a low Flowie, Yahoo! is among the best.
