Venture Catalyst Inc. Announces Investment in Invigo, a Business-to-Business Provider of Support Management Services on the Internet

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 2000--Venture Catalyst Inc. (Nasdaq:VCAT - news), a full-service consultant and incubator for emerging businesses, today announced that it has participated with other investors in a $2.1 million seed-stage investment round for Invigo Inc.

Commenting on the investment, Sanjay Sabnani, president and chief operating officer of Venture Catalyst, stated: ``We are constantly on the lookout for investment opportunities in companies that are creating innovative solutions to fulfill market needs.

``Invigo is developing a comprehensive online method to allow large and medium-sized corporations to manage support issues. The process is intended to benefit all parties in the equation, and save end users both time and money.'

Invigo is an Internet-based hub that provides support management services for vendors, service providers and end users. Still in the development stage, Invigo will unveil its business strategy over the next few months. The company was founded in 1999 and is located in Redwood City, Calif.
