Getting that sort of growth and a minimum 8% return makes me think that Windtec knew something AMSC didn't, otherwise why sell so cheap?

Essentially, AMSC paid $13m (1.3m shares) for a company with TTM $1m net. This seems too cheap. Improbably cheap. I wouldn't be surprised to see a significantly lowered growth rate or an actual fall-back in earnings after the backlog is cleared, as oil continues to get cheaper (higher price of oil has spurred more exploration and extraction) and countries that put big bucks in windpower (Germany, Japan) slack off a bit.
