It's been a very good year for me, and I wanted to make a lump sum payment this month into TSP. And I got told no....the only way to contribute to TSP is thru payroll deductions. So, I'm maximizing my contribution on my last paycheck, that will help some.

I wish we could contribute by writing a check. Many may not want to contribute the maximum, in case of household emergencies, etc.

By letting us contribute the full $15,000 up to the last day can only help the national savings rate, not hurt it.

Is anyone from Congress or TSP reading this?
