I've been walking on the treadmill 3 days per week usually 30 minutes at a time. If I go much above 2 mph, I'm really tired all day. I'm sure I can work up to a brisk walk for 30 mph eventually, but I'm not sure which is better:

1) Walking at 2mph 5 days per week for 30 minutes
2) Walking faster for part of the workout but, in the short term, cutting it back to 3 days per week and reducing the walk to less than 30 minutes.

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?
