can anyone help on the subject of wash sales?
read the writeup on wash sales but, I have a question for you. if i buy,
let's say IBM, in both my regular brokerage account and then sell and rebuy
it in my IRA account within a week after the sale, is this still considered
a wash sale? how can they tell since i thought the brokerages did not report
stock sales in our IRA accounts?
Thanks for any help in clearing this up for me.
