Someone asked me how OT was and if I still post there. I explained that since I'd grayed out JCoC and most posts were by him, I wasn't really coming here much. They had evidently joined our little group during the hiatus and didn't know to whom I was referring, so I did a quick google search.

I found the blog of a juror on his civil court case. omfg he's a complete nutjob. It's not just performance art here, he's seriously got issues.

I offer this, in case you're having a really lousy day and need to either laugh hard or be pushed over the edge into finally slitting your wrists:

Since He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named hasn't responded to your posting, it leads to one of two conclusions:

Possibility One - He is thinking up a more loquacious version of "I know you are, but what am I?"

Possibility Two - He has marked you as an Ignored Fool. Oh Snap!

I mainly lurk on this board, since I am by no means an expert on poker, but enjoy reading most of the posts with the exception of that JC of C. JCoC always freaks me out,it seems like he is just endlessly posting and justtalking to himself, no one even bothers to respond to him anymore.

Thanks for the blog, Frydaze! It was amusing and somewhat scary though to read about him. Ugh, I hope he never gets to Iowa (Living 4 hrs east of where I am is scary enough)

He hasn't responded to anyone in the entire thread. Because he isn't here to read, he's here to post. Anyone who has tried to teach him anything has learned that. OTOH if I am on his ignored list, I might happy-dance my way through the day! :-P

Allisonh2,

Welcome! It's nice to see you here.

There are very few experts on poker, and even fewer on this board. ;-) But many of the folks here are extremely good and part of the point of being here is to help others and each other get better. And since they've been particularly mellow lately, I'd strongly suggest that you take advantage of that and post some hands. Lurking is good when there's a lot going on here, but right now there isn't and we'd all be better off with some meaningful content to discuss.

No matter what limits you're playing there are bound to be hands where you weren't absolutely sure what you should have done. Or (and this tends to be my problem) there are hands where you *were* sure - but were wrong. There aren't many places where you can bring the poker scenario you were actually in, and expect to get quality feedback on it. This is one of them.

So please do post a hand or ten. And remember: the more facts you can provide, the better, but stop prior to telling us what you actually did or anything that happened after that.

Thanks Frydaze1! :)
I'll post a hand or so later on (mostly all I do is play on FB though, but I'll try to post something) Haven't been to the casino for quite a while but when I go again and play, I'll remember the details as well!

Allison <-----Frydaze1 fan also :)

I am not chic. I mostly sit around in my underwear and flip flops and post on wikipedia all day.

I have skimmed the blog and would say it is mostly a matter of perspective aside from the part about failing classes. In my department I need a 3.5 to pass and had a 3.3. Failing is making a C or too many Bs. I had one C that was hard to make up with enough As. Aside from that it is a matter of perspective and if you are paid enough you can take any perspective.

Your version of the events seem to largely coincide with the blog's version:

But I did enjoy this press release:

May 15, 2006 Press Release I

After comparing several fitness centers, Tony took advantage of the citywide Mayor's Fitness Council Challenge and the Third Annual Chicago Moves Day presented by the Mayor's Fitness Council and Bally Total Fitness in cooperation with the City of Chicago and the Chicago Park District. He will now work out at Chicagoland's Bally Sports Clubs and Bally Total Fitness Centers. In March 2006, the University of Chicago's Gerald Ratner Athletic Center requested that Tony cancel his non-registered student membership unless the Dean of Student granted him permission to continue his using the facility with a non-registered student membership. The Dean of Student of the University of Chicago determined that it no longer recognizes the non registered student status that Tony had used for membership eligibility since being withdrawn from the program in March 2004.

Holy f**k the world is falling apart... Ott's back!

Well, if JCoC brought Ott out of his hiding spot, I'd say he has brought something positive to the board after all...

Then you failed. It is not a matter of perspective.
