We ate breakfast at the Mandarin Oriental when we were there in March. Beautiful place.
We stayed around the corner at the Renaissance, which suited us just fine.
Location is really great for both.

Since budget is no object, you could hire a car to take you to all of the sights. I expect any tour company would be happy to provide a private tour. Or, the concierge at your hotel could arrange it. Be sure to order tickets in advance for popular tourist sites; lines can be extremely long.

My not-great-but-passable Spanish came in handy. Not everyone is fluent in English.
