We have lived through panics, recessions, bursts of bubbles, national catastrophes, S&L crashes, junk bond implosions, rust belts, inflation, wars, shortages, commodity price increases, scandals, insider trading, bad accounting and many other dark times I cannot recall.

It sucks when it happens, people get hurt but we are resilient.

Our unemployment, our problems, our worries will be dwarfed by the EU (IMO) as stronger economies are forced to run on the same currency as weaker economies and the currency value is based on a soup of fluctuating economies.

Time to pull in the belt, keep ones head and hit the tag sales.

Sometimes learning to live with caution is a good thing after a decade of unrealistic personal financial management.
