Nice rebound this year. I was looking at my biggest block trades over the past years, and realized how much better I'd have done if I just did even more of my most confident trades in blue-chip names:

Google - up 112% in 4 years

JPM - tripled in less than 7 years, up 117% in less than 6 years plus divy

CSCO - up 115% plus divy in 5 years

Nike - up 70% plus divy in 9 quarters

AMZN - up 110% in 2.5 years

ABBV - up 179% in 7 years,

The stock that's done the worst in this group is BLK - up 80% + a nice divy in 6 years down from up 153% before the price wars hit.

I mean, that's a pretty nicely diversified portfolio for only 7 stocks - drugs, shoes, banks, search, asst mgmt, hardware, online retail! I could have just bought these stocks and sat on the beach the rest of the time and done better and paid fewer costs and taxes and etc.

I should have.

And people think 'you can't beat the market....'
