We're looking at 1 1/4" Class II hitches. I plan to order and install one for her. Looks super easy to do on a Camry, and a hitch is <$120.

I'd suggest making sure the carrier you select will fit a 1 1/4" hitch. If the carrier requires a 2" hitch, you can get an adapter to use the 1 1/4, but it will extend the length, putting more torque on the whole hitch system, and reducing the amount of actual weight you can carry.

If you have a 2" hitch and need a 1 1/4", the adapter slips inside the hitch and doesn't add to the overall length, leaving your carrying capacity intact.
