MSN Investor is my default homepage. Very cool ActiveX control that tracks your portfolio(s) and just about any info you want all on one page. Many functions are free, but the coolest features (like Reuters alerts, Analyst info, Business profiles, Insider trading info, etc...) will cost you $6.95/mo. http://investor.msn.com

Also well used in my favorites list is EquityTrader.com (http://www.equitytrader.com/) for some really cool (but slow!) charts.

MSNBC Commerce is my news site of choice. (http://www.msnbc.com/news/com_front.asp)
Full disclosure: MSNBC is one of my biggest clients, but I think I'd use them anyway.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
