Welcome to the wonderful world of engineering. One of few professions that allow you to be creative, innovative, (and due to the current Economy and poor business management), frustrated beyond your wildest expectations. It used to be there were three items that showed the success of a project. The first being on time, second, on budget, the third and most important, done right the first time. Sorry to say that in this day and age, you will be lucky if you are allowed one of the three. This will not be by your own choosing, but rather by the constraints placed on you by your company and the customer. They will expect it to be done yesterday, by using the lowest cost products (Warning-you get what you pay for), and in light of the aforementioned, the third will depend on your perseverance to show your superiors the pitfalls that wait if the first two items are not fully thought out.
