Well definitely not redeemed this week!

Wife ordered new cell phone this week. Amazon page stated that the phone would work on Verizon as well as most other major service providers.

Phone received and it does not work on Verizon, which requires the cdma protocol. Some of the other service providers listed for the phone use the gsm protocol exclusively, which does not work on Verizon. At least not Verizon unlimited plans which is what we have.

While the phone model may work on both Verizon and the other carriers depending on which protocol that specific phone uses, none of the phones from that model will work on all the providers listed on the Amazon page.

There was no way to specify that you wanted Verizon or cdma when you ordered.

Amazon is sending a replacement and I hope they send the right one.

In my orders Amazon is alternating between excellence and absolute failure. The failures are leaving much room for the competition and hurting customer satisfaction!
