Well, it would certainly involve impeachment.
Impeachment is a political process, not a criminal penalty.
There is some debate whether a sitting President can actually be tried. This implies that impeachment would be required before the indictment.

Consider this also - who would become president?
Several cabinet members (AG, State, Defense), as well as the vice-president, were likely involved in the decision. All would be charged with conspiracy and those still serving would need to be impeached. That puts the Speaker in the White House.

It would be very, very ugly.
