Well my junior to be has about 38k and my freshman to be has 52k. I didn't make the same investments and the younger one's account took off. I haven't figured out if it is enough. Do you figure the tuition and boarding for the four years? The numbers vary so widely from CA state to UC to Private. I figure I can afford some monthly amount when they are at college or is that spending money? I have saved most of it in custodian accounts. If I make more contributions should they be in a 529? We are in the NY one and it doesn't seem to be doing that great. I need to look at the numbers.
