Well now that everybody else had a shot at this. (And the crisis is over!)

1. You only make enough money to be at a poverty level wage.

2. You must make more money. That's all the story. You do not have enough money to live on your own. Pure & simple.

3. School does not care how long you stay out. You can go to two classes a semester and keep your aid for school.

4. You are in debt. You don't need to burn or freeze CD's or do anything else with them. You need to get out on Monday and get some work. Not school, work.

5. I had a big property, a GPA of 4.0, waitressed every weekend and had 2 little kids and supported them. And I was a full time student.

6. You do what you have to do. You are not picking up your end.

7. You are young. Get off your @ss, and go do something about this. This debt is small, but not paying it will hurt your credit for a while.

8. Don't blow the more experienced posters off. First off, it's a mark of poor upbringing. These people have seen this movie and for a lot more than a thin 2k.

9. And may I make one observation from living nearly 5 decades of a great life?

10. If you are that damned naive that a bill collector will come to your house and lock you up, I believe it will behoove you to get out to the "real world" and get to work. I suggest Denny's to start with.

Now the flames re-ignite!!!
